Day Nine, Alaska Adventure

Hi, we spent the day around Fairbanks and saw some great things, like this dog sled team of 10 that pulled a 600 pound 4-wheeler and rider 25 mph around a track. You can see they were ready to go. Then Anna on the actual sled that Susan Butcher won the 1987 Iditarod race. I'm just relaxing on the deck of Pikes landing, the place where the 1000 mile Iron Dog race (snowmobiles) begins and ends. 10,000 Sandhill cranes summer around this old dairy just outside of town, before going south to Texas and Mexico. Then us on a river boat and very happy. Thanks for looking and see you tomorow. Clyde and Anna.
